The Nya
Gogra tea estate was a part of the McLeod & Company Group. In 1988 it merged with the Gohpur Tea Estate also belonging to the same group. This area is a producer of fairly good and healthy crop. The river Satrang flowing through a nearby village causes frequent disturbances to the crop, but the company has taken preventive measures to combat this crisis.
