Established in 1884, the Namdang Tea Company was a part of the Assam Railways &
Trading Company. The estate has 2 divisions, the Namdang and Namtok, lying in the south of the Dehind river and north of the
Patkai range of hills. The scenic beauty is quite startling as Namdang is
surrounded by green hills from three sides.
