Known
for its natural beauty, Jainti Tea Estate is situated at 500 ft in the
foothills of Bhutan, surrounded by the Buxa Tiger Reserve Forest. As per
records available, the planting was first commenced in 1889 in an
area of 69.15 acres, i.e., 28 hectares only. Gradually the area as been
extended to 426.45 hectares which is at present under cultivation.
