Established in
1916, Bogapani was the fifth tea estate of the Assam Railway & Trading
Co, located in the upper Dehing Reserve Forest along the Dibru Sidya Railway, the property was called "Derrick Chungi. Bogapani means clear water. The first plantation began in 1917 by W.R. Noble and since then the company has been engaged in increased production and high yield.
